Dennis & Alisha’s Fall Family Session | South of Indian Head, SK 🍂

There’s something so special about fall family sessions — the golden light, colorful leaves, and that crisp air that makes everyone a little extra playful. Dennis and Alisha’s session, just south of Indian Head, Saskatchewan, was exactly that kind of magic. The evening couldn’t have been more perfect — the trees were glowing in shades of gold and amber, and their two kiddos brought all the goofy, loveable energy a photographer could ever hope for.

From the very first photo, it was pure fun. The kids were full of personality — making silly faces, cracking jokes, and turning every moment into laughter. It’s always my favorite when children bring their quirks to the session because that’s what makes their photos feel real. Between running through the leaves, giggling at inside jokes, and giving the occasional reluctant “nice smile for Mom,” they kept us all laughing the whole time.

Dennis and Alisha rolled with it perfectly — just embracing the chaos and soaking in the moment with their family. There were sweet cuddles, genuine smiles, and a few tickle fights that had everyone in stitches. Those are the moments that make fall sessions so special: the in-between laughter, the messy hair, the love that shines through in every frame.

I left their session with a full heart (and memory card!) — and I know these images will be such fun memories for them to look back on for years to come.
